The role requires a Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology, with MT/MLS or AMT certification due within 1 year. Excellent communication and flexibility are essential for shifting schedules and handling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• No experience required.
• Licensure within 1 year: MT/MLS per ASCP BOC or AMT.
• Must obtain MT/MLS or AMT certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests per protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports results.
• Performs calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments.
• Assists in quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Collects specimens from patients and ensures proper labeling and handling.
• Provides training and support to staff and students as needed.
• Supports accreditation standards and CAP-related requirements.
• Performs proficiency testing and supports specialty testing areas.
• Provides timely laboratory results for critical care departments.
