Job summary

JC Ford Company in Tennessee is seeking a Metal Fabricator to set up and operate AMADA machinery, bend sheet metal to drawings, and load materials. You will measure, mark, drill, and inspect parts, working closely with Engineering to ensure quality.

This role requires reading blueprints, basic shop math, teamwork, and a safety-first mindset. You will maintain a clean, safe work area and document progress in the data system, with opportunities to grow technical skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate AMADA machinery to bend metal per drawings and specs.
Measure, mark reference lines, and drill holes in metal sheets.
Load and feed material; install and align machine accessories.
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and scales; troubleshoot as needed.
Work with Engineering to ensure quality and address issues.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety procedures.
Record time and work completed in the data system; assist with additional tasks.
