Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Fabricator in Nashville, TN to produce precision metal and wood components and to design jigs and fixtures for repeatable parts. You will lead a small team and ensure fabrication drawings and shop drawings are interpreted correctly.

Responsibilities include operating manual and automated equipment, measuring with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining a safe, clean shop. Enjoy a role that supports diverse project types with room to mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; apprentice/training preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automated equipment to produce metal or wood components.
• Read tape measure and apply basic math to sizing and assembly.
• Assemble components and prepare for transport to sites.
• Set up jigs/fixtures to produce repeatable parts and lead small teams.
