Endeavor Health’s Highland Park Hospital is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM shift. Under RN supervision, you will deliver direct patient care to behavioral health patients and help maintain a safe milieu while contributing to treatment planning and documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals and ADLs, de-escalation, infection control, and teamwork with nursing staff.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license required if off-site duties are performed.
• Experience in hospital or customer service preferred.
• College-level psychology coursework preferred.

Aufgaben

• Deliver, set up and remove meal trays and assist with nutritional intake.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document as directed by nurse.
• Provide one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Assist with vitals, specimen collection and EKG as trained.
• Transport or escort patients as needed within the facility.
• Communicate patient status with RN throughout the shift and follow care plans.
