Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Mental Health Tech to support adolescents with behavioral and emotional challenges. This role involves direct patient care, group activities, and helping maintain a therapeutic milieu in a residential setting.

The position offers Friday through Monday 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shifts, a starting hourly rate of $17.50 with a $3.00 shift differential, and a $1,200 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED REQUIRED.
• Preferred: Bachelor Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, human services or like field (increase in wages)
• Experience: Preferred six month's experience in residential psychiatry or other childcare facility/agency experience in comparable position
• BACKGROUND: Must be able to pass Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• The Mental Health Tech provides direct patient care duties, including group treatment and other aspects of their treatment of psychiatric disorders, behavioral health disorders or related disorders; to ensure the safety and well-being of these patients; to support the maintenance of therapeutic milieu.
