Hireology is seeking a Medication Aide to supervise self-administered medications for Assisted Living residents, ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations and SSMG guidelines. This role reports to the Wellness Director and involves rapid response to emergencies.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification and medication administration training. The job emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, and ongoing staff education.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED or related experience/training.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide must possess at least one certification and have completed the medication administration training approved by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Responsabilidades

• supervise self-administered medication for Assisted Living residents in accordance with Federal & State regulations and SSMG guidelines.
• report changes in residents' health and document properly to the Wellness Director.
• respond to emergencies promptly.
• maintain communication with all departments and staff.
• provide educational meetings for residents and staff as requested by supervisor.
• participate in Safety & Disaster Plan and maintain confidentiality of residents' information.
• attend required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• promote a safe working environment and proper handling of equipment.
