Job summary

Elm Crest Senior Living Community in Harlan, Iowa, is hiring a Medication Aide/Manager for full-time evenings or PRN days and nights. You will administer medications and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director, and assist residents with daily activities per care plans.

We offer $14.75–$18.31 per hour, plus shift differential and holiday pay. We provide medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, life and AD&D

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification.
• Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
• Preferred: 1 year of healthcare or long-term care experience (training provided).
• Experience giving medications in a senior living setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Give residents their medications and limited topical treatments under supervision.
• Assist residents with daily activities per care plans.
• Monitor changes in condition and report to clinical staff.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
• Follow Iowa medication management rules and Elm Crest policies.
