Job summary

Elm Crest Senior Living Community is seeking a Medication Aide to administer medications and assist residents. The role offers evenings full-time or PRN days/nights with shift differential and holiday pay.

You will follow Iowa guidelines and Elm Crest policies while monitoring residents and reporting changes to the clinical team. Requires CMA/Medication Manager certification and clear communication in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Certified Medication Aide or Medication Manager certification as required by Iowa laws.
• Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Give residents their medications and limited topical treatments under supervision.
• Assist residents with daily activities based on care plans.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report them to clinical staff.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
• Follow Iowa medication management rules and Elm Crest care policies.
