Job summary

Avera Mother Joseph Manor Retirement Community in Aberdeen, SD, is seeking a PRN CNA/Medication Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and essential care duties in a respectful, compassionate environment.

Role includes taking vitals, assisting with bathing and grooming, and documenting care under a licensed nurse's supervision. The position supports residents' safety and comfort, with flexible 6pm-9pm shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA license active within 120 days.
• Medication Aide license active within 120 days.
• Less than 1 year experience in long-term care encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Take vitals (BP, pulse, temp, respiration, weight) and document.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and repositioning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents.
• Restock supplies and support nursing staff as needed.
• Provide emotional and spiritual support to families.
