Brown University Health seeks an Un-Registered Medical Technologist to perform routine and specialized studies on blood, urine and body fluids under supervision. The role supports the Laboratory Supervisor and adheres to safety and quality standards in all activities.

Qualified candidates complete 12 months of education in Medical Technology or related fields, with 3 months on-the-job training. A baccalaureate in Medical Technology or related sciences and ASCP eligibility are required.

Formación

• Twelve months of clinical education/training in a school of Medical Technology or its equivalent.
• Requires three months on-the-job training to become familiar with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with supervisor and inform of activities, needs, and problems.
• May rotate in multiple laboratory departments or serve as charge person when supervisor is absent.
• Establishes work plans to ensure timely completion of tasks per standards.

5 years related clinical experience (in related science)
