Qualifikationen

• Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or related science required; if degree is in related science, at least 5 years of acceptable clinical experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology or Microbiology within last 10 years; at least two years under a pathologist-certified supervisor.
• ASCP eligible or other acceptable certification agency.

Aufgaben

• Consults with and informs supervisor of activities, needs and problems.
• May rotate across lab departments or be assigned to a specific department.
• Assist in teaching and training of new employees.
• Record, review and report test results as required.
• Maintain quality control procedures to ensure proper instrument function.

Ausbildung

MT certification advisable
