Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a full-time Clinical Laboratory professional for the Evening Shift. You will perform and report a wide range of routine and complex analyses across multiple lab sections, impacting patient care.

Minimum requirements include a BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology, and MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP (or eligibility) within the first year. New grads welcome; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology required.
• MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP certification or eligibility within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by chemical analyses.
• Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques.
• Ensures operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting.
