Job summary

UCHealth Leprino Building AMC in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLS leader for an on-site Evening shift. You will oversee lab team members, verify analytic methods, and ensure quality control while coordinating workflows and providing guidance in complex issues.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or MLS, applicable MT/MLS licensure, and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or MLS program completed and Accredited.
• Required licensure/certification: MT (AMT) or MT/MLS (ASCP) or ASCP categorical certification in lab specialty; state licensure if required by law.
• 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and reference ranges for test methods and instruments.
• Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; participates in developing new testing procedures.
• Provides monitoring, coaching and evaluation of team members' performance in productivity and quality management.
• Coordinates services, prioritizes assignments and workflow, and promotes situational decision-making.

Education

Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program
