Job summary

Memorial Hospital Shiloh is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician III for the Evening Shift. You will perform and report laboratory testing across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach specimens, serving as a generalist across multiple disciplines.

Join a collaborative team with exposure to Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Molecular, and more. Evening shift differential applies, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with every 5th weekend rotations and two holidays per year.

Qualifications

• MLT or MLS certification required through ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Preferred 2–3 years of generalist lab experience including Blood Bank.

Responsibilities

• Reports and maintains patient test results meeting turnaround times.
• Documents test management problems on quality documents and initiates corrective action.
• Operates instrumentation and performs specimen collection, processing, test analysis.
• Performs quality controls and troubleshoots instrumentation; evaluates problems and solutions.
• Trains new personnel in methods and equipment for the assigned area.
