Qualifications

• Associate degree: Medical Laboratory Technician program.
• ASCP eligible and pass certification within 6 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter.
• Intermediate language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability.
• Personal computer, database software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be highly organized.
• Ability to work with multiple, simultaneous tasks and in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Obtains proper specimens for testing and performs clinical testing of laboratory specimens.
• Reviews data for clinical correlation and performs quality control testing on analyzers and analytes.
• Interprets results, troubleshoots instrumentation and assays, and follows safety policies.
