Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Medical Lab Technician to support clinical activities by performing waived and moderately complex tests under CLIA 88. The role is in Lab Support Services, full time 4pm–12:30am with rotational weekends and holidays.

You will report results accurately, perform venipuncture, and ensure compliance with JC, CAP, FDA and AABB standards while maintaining high quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Technology or CLIA-relevant field.
• Alternative degree with CLIA 88 coursework accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderately complex laboratory tests as defined by CLIA 88.
• Accurately report test results to physicians and staff.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen preparation.
• Maintain compliance with JC, CAP, FDA, and AABB regulatory requirements.
