Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Port Huron campus, seeks experienced Medical Assistants to become part-time instructors for evening classes. Instructors will teach the Ross curriculum, prepare lessons, and actively promote student retention, with duties including grading and recording assignments.

Typical schedule is two evenings per week (M-W, 5:30-10 PM). Requires MA certification or 3+ years of related experience plus a license/credential per regulations. Benefits include health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized program or 3+ years practical experience in the content area.
• Must hold or obtain within 90 days a nationally recognized MA certification from the listed bodies.
• At least 3 years of relevant occupational experience if not a graduate from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students using the Ross curriculum and review lesson plans.
• Prepare for class instruction and grade/record assignments.
• Promote student retention and support externship activities as applicable.
• Perform related work as required.
