Job summary

Ross Education Holdings Inc. is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to become instructors for year-round classes in Benton Harbor, MI. This part-time role involves teaching in the Medical Assisting program with evening and morning sessions.

You will use Ross curriculum, handle up to 24 students, and step in as needed for TA or substitutes. A CMA certification and 3+ years of clinical experience are required; additional teaching interest and flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in medical assisting with formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Individuals without formal education must have at least 5+ years of experience in the medical field with a national certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting classes with up to 24 students.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Sessions are 4.5 hours; mornings, afternoons or evenings per schedule.
• Provide support for teaching assistants and substitutes as needed.
