Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking Medical Assistant Instructors for morning and evening classes in Taylor, MI. The role is part-time, PRN, with sessions typically 4.5 hours and up to 18 hours per week.

Instructors will teach clinical and administrative skills to up to 24 students, using Ross curricula and lesson plans. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in medical assisting, are willing to obtain national certification, and enjoy teaching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow
• Sufficient ability to stand for extended periods and to manage classroom activities

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum
• This is a part-time position, typically 0-18 hours/week
