Job summary

MorningStar of Santa Fe is seeking a Med Care Manager/QMAP to administer, document, and manage medications for residents in our senior living community. Under the Wellness Director, you will follow physician orders and state regulations while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years’ experience in senior living preferred.
• Must read and write English; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Order medications from the pharmacy 7 days prior to running out; ensure delivery and notify if late.
• Document medications after administration; date and initial the bubble pack.
• Monitor residents and report adverse reactions to licensed nurses.
• Assist with care plans and maintain resident privacy and safety.
