Allina Health's Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis is hiring a Part-time Patient Care Technician for the Med/Surg unit. This role supports RNs with vital signs, ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care on evenings. You will perform clerical duties, document care in the EMR, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharge tasks.

Requires CNA/clinical rotation or NREMT/certifications, and BLS. This 0.5 FTE position offers a two-week pay period at 20 hours per week, with every 4th

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older (or 17 with HS diploma/GED).
• Completion of CNA program or clinical rotations in accredited nursing program, or Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy, or NREMT certification, or prior direct patient care experience.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross or Allina in-house BLS.

Responsabilidades

• Observe, collect and document patient health data and vital signs.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and transfers under RN direction.
• Document care in the EMR and support admissions/discharges/transfers.
• Provide clerical support and help with patient registration and meal distribution.
• Ensure patient safety and assist with ambulation, ROM and positioning.
