Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring General Labor workers in Missouri to handle bone-in ham processing and related packaging tasks. The role involves standing for long periods in cool conditions, repetitive manual work, lifting 30–60 lbs, and operating various packing equipment on a production line.

Shifts include 2nd shift (4:30 pm – 1:00 am) with mandatory overtime and a $1.00 shift differential for evenings and overnights. Overtime and safety requirements apply; background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to lift 30-60 lbs repeatedly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate ink jet printer to label products on a conveyor line.
• Move products on the conveyor belt and label as they pass by.
• Pre-price and weigh products, apply scale labels, and place on conveyor.
• Remove casing/netting from product using knife/cutter as needed.
• Rack and move product from hanging racks to feed production lines.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to move heavy loads safely.
• Box, bag, and palletize products as required; assist with packing steps.
