Tyson Foods, Concordia Plant, is hiring for a General Production role on the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) in Concordia, MO. The job involves standing and walking, working with raw ham products, and operating forklifts/pallet jacks in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Working with raw ham products (ham).
• Racking - placing 5–36 lb hams on racks, bending, twisting, stooping, and standing.
• Push racks - pushing racks weighing 800–2000 lbs to other locations of the department.
• Tipper Tie - standing and gripping, pulling netted product into position with one hand and pressing a switch to clamp with the other hand.
• Cutting Tails - using scissors or knife, gripping, and standing.
• Net Ruckers - placing netting over a canister and placing canister on the table; lifting netting to stand.
• Placing casings on horns - hand/finger grip.
• Slop - lifting buckets 5–25 pounds, bending to lift container of product.
• Stuffer - placing raw product in to horn and hand stuffing into netting.
• Forklift and Pallet jack activity in the area
• Wiping ceilings down with ceiling mop.
• Using a rake to pull ham muscles into the pump machine and repeating process.
