Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Supply Chain Ops Associate III to execute customer communication protocols and manage material availability. The role is salaried with a 2:00 pm–10:30 pm schedule, plus occasional Saturday OT. Benefits include health, 401(k) with company match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year administrative experience preferred.
• Five years or more relevant experience strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Follow up purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery to support production requirements.
• Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers and manage ship schedules; provide containment plans when behind schedule.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid downtime on manufacturing lines.
• Coordinate alternative sources of material and requests for spot buys (SPO) when necessary.
• Independently monitor, set up, and cancel truck loads to support schedule variations; ensure material coverage at lowest cost.
• Review part buffers to ensure coverage for builds (Metal Centers and Powertrain).
• Document and manage S and AV code exceptions including root-cause actions.
• Maintain inventory levels in MGO; post adjustments after investigation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
