Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time Material Handler in Sioux Falls. The role involves safely operating equipment to move packages, documents, and heavyweight freight, including dangerous goods and ULDs, and assisting with pallet buildup/breakdown.

Additionally, you will act as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor when required and perform other duties as assigned. A valid driver’s license and ability to work in a noisy environment are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to operate in all weather conditions and climb stairs/ladders if required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
