Job summary

Adecco is seeking a dependable Material Handler for the 2nd shift in East Providence, RI. You will move materials to inventory locations, supply production with components, and maintain organized stock. Forklift operation and accurate record-keeping are essential.

The ideal candidate has material handling or warehouse experience, is comfortable operating forklifts, and can work overtime as needed. This is a full-time role within a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of material handling experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with Raymond, Counterbalance, and/or Turret Lift equipment preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve components and materials needed by production departments.
• Deliver materials to designated production areas.
• Return unused components to their proper warehouse locations.
• Move and organize inventory throughout the facility.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Transport materials to Quality Assurance when quality issues arise.
• Return approved materials back to inventory.
• Keep warehouse inventory organized and in designated locations.
• Operate forklifts and other lift equipment safely.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory recounts as requested.
• Assist the Distribution Center as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow applicable procedures and safety requirements.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform additional material handling duties as assigned.
