Job summary

GoodWork Staffing is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (1:00pm–9:30pm) to support receiving, staging, labeling, and storage of materials. You will move goods to support production and shipping, while ensuring accuracy and safety in daily warehouse tasks.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a similar role, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 55 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate forklifts; certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in picking, labeling, and record-keeping.
• Able to lift at least 55 lbs, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse.
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to changes.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.
• Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Commitment to following safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Stage and transport materials to support production, shipping, and warehouse operations.
• Label products using established labeling systems for correct identification.
• Assist in regular inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring safe handling and timely fulfillment.
• Organize products, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and support warehousing operations.
• Perform other related tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment per safety and quality rules.
• Provide support to the team lead to ensure seamless workflow.
