Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Provo, UT is seeking an Evening Manager to partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop team members, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive financial results.

The AGM is expected to lead from the front, maintain high standards, and prepare for future advancement into a General Manager role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop others.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain Kneaders food quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the café.
• Execute company promotions, catering programs, and seasonal initiatives.
• Train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders.
• Hold employees accountable to performance expectations.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention.
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture.
• Lead by example in attitude, work ethic, and professionalism.
• Help achieve labor, food cost, and prime cost goals.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and waste control.
• Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
• Protect company assets and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
• Assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists.
