Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification to join our imaging department. You will perform a wide range of diagnostic exams, ensure patient safety, accuracy of positioning, and maintain compliance with FDA/MQSA standards.

Strong communication and attention to detail are essential. Minimum ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year in Mammography are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of Mammography experience.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete clinical history and assesses conditions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and marker usage.
• Reviews radiographic images for quality and releases patients.
• Responds to emergencies and follows physician instructions.
• Maintains infection control and adheres to safety protocols.
