Job summary

Inn at Little Washington is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team for the PM shift, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, on site at our Forbes Five-Star property. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment, perform preventive maintenance, support events, and maintain guest rooms and historic facilities with pride.

Three+ years of maintenance or facilities experience required; strong problem-solving, independence, and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Three or more years of maintenance, facilities, HVAC, building operations, or a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Engineering technician on property during the evening shift.
• Respond to guest and operational maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Maintain commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Support special events, VIP arrivals, and guest-facing operations.
• Maintain accurate work records and communicate repairs effectively.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment across the property.
