PurposeBuilt Brands in Manchester, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support onsite facilities. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of filling, packaging, pumps, mixers, and related equipment, with a hands‑on approach to ensure plant reliability.

The candidate will develop PM schedules, update maintenance records in line with GMP, and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to optimize parts libraries and tool inventories.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable aptitude and experience in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic system repairs and maintenance.
• Experience with high‑speed fillers and automated packaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• General math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance projects, preventative and emergency, on filling equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, labelers and sleeving equipment.
• Assist in the development of PM schedule and administer that schedule.
• In cooperation with the Maintenance Manager, update PM checklists and maintain records per GMP requirements.
• Assist in developing a complete library of parts and operating manuals for equipment and plant.
• Responsible for maintenance tools and parts inventory.
• Recommend and cost equipment and parts to complete PM projects.
• Operate heavy equipment including fork trucks.
• Operate power tools including drills, saws and grinders.
• All associated duties in the safe and efficient operation of the equipment and facilities.
