Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a maintenance technician for the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM). You will perform electromechanical analysis and repair of multi-functional equipment, handle routine preventive maintenance, and maintain facilities to support safety and quality; you will also train operators and document parts for rapid response.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and a technical degree in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic circuits with PLC experience;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic circuits, PLC, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs; PLC software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical analysis and repair of equipment with multi-functional use.
• Maintain facilities upkeep of grounds, building, fixtures and general maintenance duties.
• Support routine equipment maintenance elements for safety, quality and preventative maintenance needs.
• Assist maintenance shop activity within scope of authority and gain experience for advancement potential.
• Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time.
• Assures proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are identified for rapid response.
• Evaluate equipment malfunctions with urgency to minimize downtime.
• Modify equipment to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication duties.
• Follows and promotes on the job safety expectations.
