Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a Maintenance Lead responsible for ensuring reliable operation of hydraulic and electrical equipment that manufactures blow-molded bottles and containers. You will lead technicians, assign repairs, troubleshoot issues, schedule the team, train new staff, and participate in daily meetings with management to drive safety, quality and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in maintenance/leadership roles.
• OSHA forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Check machinery and assign repairs and upgrades to technicians.
• Ensure all assignments are completed correctly and on time.
• Lead specified projects and ensure completion.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues in the plant.
• Schedule team and oversee performance.
• Participate in daily meetings with shift leaders and management.
• Train new team members.
• Interact with clients and vendors professionally.
