Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, TN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain blow mold and related packaging equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot root causes, replace valves and pumps, and operate or assist with blow molding processes.

Strong mechanical aptitude and safety compliance are essential. Requirements include 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, basic math and computer skills, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics,

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
• OSHA forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold changes, pin changes and other equipment adjustments.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Troubleshoot root causes and repair blow mold and related equipment.
• Communicate with other departments on equipment status and needs.
• Duties may vary by plant depending on equipment and design.
