Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain selected machine types in an industrial setting. You will perform inspections, document nonconformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with CNC programming, micrometers, and precision measurement tools. Safety and accurate documentation are essential, with opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience or trade school
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and use of measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and blueprints
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerances
• Capable of basic CNC programming knowledge

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain a limited number of machine types.
• Perform process checks and inspections per documentation.
• Document nonconforming material and participate in root cause actions.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures.
• Use gauging equipment to verify conformance to specs.
• Interpret blueprints and perform routed operations on precision parts.
