Qualifications

• 1+ year of demonstrated experience with the operation of manual and computer-controlled punching, cutting, forming machines, or press brakes.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
• Basic knowledge of machine controls and programs.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machines to fabricate parts per specifications.
• Set up machines with appropriate materials and tooling.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to meet part requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues to ensure longevity of equipment.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and document results.
• Maintain records of fabrication activities and job progress.
