Job summary

Centre for Neuro Skills in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for residential care. The role focuses on professional nursing care, patient assessment, staff education, and advocating for high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting.

The position is full-time at the residential site with a Monday–Friday shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm; some on-call work is required. On-site duties include medication administration and patient daily routines to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Texas LVN licensure is required; Blood Draw and IV certifications preferred.
• Drug screen, health screen, TB clearance, and criminal history clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
• Supervises, administers, assists with, and delegates the distribution of medications.
• Takes vital signs and monitors medical progress; completes documentation and reporting.
• Follows physician’s orders and care plans; assists with daily routines and respiratory care.
• Provides emergency first-aid for patients and staff; administers TB tests and Hepatitis B vaccines.
• Teaches, monitors, and documents patient programs (ADLs) in English.
• Performs transfers and ensures safety during interactions with patients.
• May transport patients using company or personal vehicle when needed.

Education

Texas LVN licensure (Current/clear)

Blood Draw and IV certifications (preferred)
