Job summary
La Palma Intercommunity Hospital in Los Angeles is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician for evenings, full-time. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, following EMTALA guidelines in the ER while supporting a team-focused, patient-centered environment.
Applicants should hold an active LVN license and current BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP, and EDAP certificates are required within specified timelines.
Qualifications
- Current and valid LVN license in the state.
- BLS certificate required.
- ACLS and PALS certificates required within specified hire windows.
- NRP certificate required within 90 days of hire; EDAP certificate required 6 months of hire.
- IV certification upon hire; BW certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse; demonstrate EMTALA and ER triage knowledge.
