Qualifications

• Current and valid state LVN license.
• BLS certificate required on hire and maintained.
• IV certification on hire; BW certification preferred.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certificate required within 30 days and maintained.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) certificate required within 30 days and maintained.
• NRP certificate required within 90 days and maintained.
• EDAP certificate required within 6 months and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrate EMTALA awareness and triage in the ER setting.
