Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time night shift (6pm-6am) in Arlington, TX. You will oversee CNAs, ensure regulatory compliance, administer medications, and coordinate resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.

The role requires an active RN/LPN license, current CPR certification, and a nursing degree. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of CNAs per applicable regulations and facility policies.
• Transcribes physician orders and administers medications as written.
• Participates in admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents as required.
• Provides nursing leadership to the unit and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Performs routine nursing duties including wound care, IV administration, tube feedings and related tasks.
• Ensures timely documentation and reporting of resident status and incidents.
• Participates in end-of-life care as required.
