Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin required.
Pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
Prior long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Accept and accurately dispense prescription medications while maintaining compliance with legal regulations
Monitor patient medication adherence and identify patterns of over-usage
Maintain confidential records and manage pharmacy files with precision
Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
Provide additional patient services such as smoking cessation guidance, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management
Educate patients on the use of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following strict procedural standards
Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks, ensuring smooth operations
Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory effectively
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare practitioners to resolve drug-related issues
