Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities during the shift in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies and safety programs.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with proper documentation.
• Participate in orientation and training of residents and families.
• Coordinate care plans and communicate with health care providers.
• Complete and review medical records and orders for accuracy.
• Manage nursing staff assignments and shift planning.
• Assist in program development (e.g., dementia, wound care, QA, infection control).
• Ensure proper medication administration and supply levels.
