Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing to take a leadership role in our skilled nursing and assisted living community. You will plan, organize, and direct the Nursing Services Department to ensure the highest quality of resident care in compliance with all governing standards.

You will supervise nursing staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with health care providers to coordinate comprehensive care plans and improve outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Proven ability to lead nursing staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for daily nursing operations.
• Oversee budget planning and monitoring for the department.
• Administer medications and ensure safe medication practices.
• Supervise nursing staff, provide coaching, and manage staffing levels.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
• Coordinate with health care providers and interdisciplinary teams.
