Job summary

Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement is seeking an experienced LPN Shift Supervisor for the Evening shift in Myers Hall Assisted Living. You will lead nursing and caregiving staff, mentor teammates, and collaborate with physicians to ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care in a warm community.

As the Evening Shift Supervisor, you will guide daily clinical operations, coordinate staffing, oversee medication administration, and participate in QAPI efforts.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and caregiving staff throughout the shift
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, team members, residents, and families
• Conduct resident rounds and proactively address care needs
• Respond to resident emergencies and family concerns with professionalism and urgency
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift assignments as needed
• Support employee coaching, performance management, and team development
• Oversee medication administration, documentation, and pharmacy-related processes
• Conduct clinical audits and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Identify training opportunities and help foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence
