Job summary

Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced LPN Resident Care Manager to lead nursing and direct care teams in a senior living setting. You will provide clinical oversight, care planning, and regulatory compliance to ensure exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, education, admissions coordination, and collaboration with physicians, hospice, and families.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of long-term care, assisted living, or senior care experience.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Strong clinical judgement and organizational abilities.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and support to nursing and direct care staff.
• Foster a positive, accountable, high-performing team culture.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, staff evaluations, coaching, and corrective action.
• Lead staff education, training initiatives, and competency development.
• Conduct resident rounds and oversee quality clinical care delivery.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, assessments, and care planning activities.
• Partner with physicians and families to support resident needs.
• Ensure timely clinical documentation and physician order management.
• Oversee medication management processes and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate care plan meetings and maintain person-centered care plans.
• Monitor quality assurance, clinical audits, and performance improvement.
