Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced LPN Shift Supervisor for the evening team in Myers Hall Assisted Living. You will mentor staff, coordinate care, and ensure quality resident outcomes.

The role focuses on leadership, clinical support, medication oversight, and collaboration with residents, families, and physicians in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience.
• Demonstrated leadership to supervise and motivate a team.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and caregiving staff throughout the shift.
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, team members, residents, and families.
• Conduct resident rounds and proactively address care needs.
• Respond to resident emergencies and family concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift assignments as needed.
• Support employee coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Oversee medication administration, documentation, and pharmacy-related processes.
• Conduct clinical audits and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Identify training opportunities and help foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
