Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking an LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care. The role operates under supervision and supports the care team to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs.

The LPN will administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care outcomes while collaborating with nurses and physicians. Evening shifts, part-time schedule, with a 16-hour week and a $29–$36 hourly wage, plus sign-on and weekend incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in ND.
• Minimum 400 hours of LPN experience at a facility.
• Specific departments may have additional education or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents under supervision of RN/physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes in care records.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and care team.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Associate degree in practical nursing

IV therapy/management course (ND)

400+ hours LPN experience
