Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in our long‑term care setting during evening shifts. The role reports to an RN/AP provider and requires applying nursing principles per the care plan, administering medications, and supporting residents’ clinical needs.

The position is part‑time (16 hours per week) with shift incentives and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Current LPN license and state nursing board eligibility.
• Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in LTC under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.
• Maintain confidentiality and support an interdisciplinary care team.
• Respond effectively to emergent situations.
