Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team. Evening shift (6pm–10pm) with flexibility on days, to pass meds and support care activities.

Under supervision of a registered nurse or physician, you will administer medications, monitor residents, document outcomes and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice.
• Associate degree in practical nursing may be preferred.
• Experience in long-term care settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes and care activities.
• Counsel residents and families on care plans and health goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and work within an interdisciplinary care team.
