Job summary

Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under licensed providers' guidance. The role includes triaging and assessing patients, administering tests, blood draws, and vaccinations, while applying infection control knowledge.

The position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Licensed in the State of South Dakota, or able to obtain upon hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; can be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under licensed providers' guidance.
• Triage, assess patients, and administer tests, blood draws, and vaccinations.
• Document nursing care in the EMR and manage scheduling.
• Monitor inventory and assist with quality-improvement initiatives.
• Train new staff and respond effectively in emergencies.
